Before You Call It a Failure
A new post receives little attention. A project grows more slowly than expected. Something you have been working toward produces no obvious result, and suddenly the absence of evidence begins to feel like evidence itself. We are remarkably quick to assign meaning to periods when nothing visible appears to be happening.
Observe today how you interpret delayed results. Notice the point at which waiting becomes disappointment, slow progress becomes failure, or an uncertain outcome becomes a conclusion. Expectations create invisible deadlines long before reality agrees to them. Sometimes what appears unsuccessful has genuinely failed. Other times, the verdict simply arrived before enough information did.
