Within the Sacred Anarchy framework, ego death is understood as a structural event rather than a temporary experience. When the identity architecture begins to collapse, the narratives that previously defined meaning—personal history, roles, beliefs, and ambitions—lose their organizing authority.
Because identity functions as the interface through which Amenta stabilizes participation, the weakening of this structure can feel disorienting.
